T12-L1 Spinal Cord Injury
Tudor is a 26-year-old man from Romania whose life came to an abrupt twist when he got into a car crash and, as a result, sustained a T12-L1 Spinal Cord Injury. Whilst Tudor has completely lost all movements in his legs during the first six months after the accident, his situation improved after he has regained some contraction back in his left thigh.
In the midst of his search for a treatment for Spinal Cord Injuries, Tudor came to hear about Andrew Bell, whose remarkable treatment results and inspiring mission to walk again inspired Tudor and drove him into his own pursuit for the treatment. Tudor got in touch with Gabi, a fellow Spinal Cord Injury patient from Romania, and was given advice and was guided through the whole process to making his treatment plan with Unique Access Medical come true.
Tudor successfully underwent the LamiSpine Surgery. In order to maximise the outcome and trigger the use of the patient’s muscles, Tudor also underwent sessions of Rehabilitation, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Physiotherapy.
Following the treatment, Tudor experiences more power in the movements of his legs. Moreover, he notices more sensation an sensitivity, an improved balance, and also improvement in his core muscles.
